My name is Chris De Anda and I am the owner of Circa 33 Barbershop. I moved down to LA from San Francisco in 2021 to have a fresh start.

In San Francisco, I worked corporate jobs for many years. I worked for Wells Fargo for 15 years doing accounting until Wells Fargo decided to layoff the accounting team to outsource our jobs to India.

After I left Wells Fargo, I started working for Facebook (Meta) as a Data Analyst. I stayed there for two years, but was not happy working there. I decided right there and then that I’d never work another corporate job again.

I had been cutting my friends and family’s hair in my garage at home for several years and really loved it. I decided to get my license and cut hair professionally and I’ve never been more happy.
